There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the western area of Shinji-ko lake, and it is about 1.6km northwest from the Izumo City hall, Hirata Branch Office in a straight line distance.

The entrance of the campsite is the east side of a golf course, If you go straight, you'll find a parking lot at the right side, and turn left and go down the road, the campsite is there.

The tent site is covered by lawn and it has soft soil suitable for setting up a tent, and there are many shade trees, so it's cool even in summer.

The cooking facility has a cool design like a star. But it seems an old facility.

It has a concrete-made sink, and the water from the faucet is tap water.

When you use the water, you'd better run the water for a while. And then, the water will become clear water.

The fireplace is made of brick, and the grill is available.

It is a wide type one, so you can make a big bonfire.

The restroom is about 100 m away from the cooking facility.

It is a temporary pit toilet, and not so good.

The electrical outlet is available. And ceiling light of cooking facility is so bright.

Please do an moral behavior about to use the outlet.

There is a place that it is able to see the lake view. It is at the east side of the campsite.

If you set up your tent there, you will be enjoying to camp while looking at the lake.
