GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at high altitude in the thick woods.
There is many shade of tall trees, so it is cool there.
There are duckboards for setting up a tent, and keep your tent dry.
It is wide space.
And pets are prohibited.
There are many cooking facilities in the campsite.
The fireplace has the wide roof. Even if it rains, so it's comfortable.
And many trees protect us against strong wind.
Toilet is flush toilet.
