There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

Please enjoy camping in Japan!

The campsite is located at high altitude in the thick woods.

It is difficult to find the entrance to the campsite. Please drive carefully, because the road is a pedestrian walkway and narrow.

There is shade of tall trees in the campsite, so it is cool in summer. And quiet place.

The water facility is unsuitable to drink water directly.

Please boil a water to drink.

The fireplace is made of concrete and brick.
And the grills are available.

It has roof made of a vinyl sheet, so we can use it even rainy day.

It is old Vault Toilet.

Beware of stray dogs.

There is a wide open-air fireplace. It is useful for party of barbecue.

The broken glass are scattered around, so be careful.

There are some duckboards to set up a tent in the campsite. But almost of them are broken.

The broken duckboards were taken away. And the broken glass were swept and cleaned up too.

And there were new duckboards made of resin and concrete.
