There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

Please enjoy camping in Japan!

The campsite is located by the side of Chikugo-river.

The camping ground is higher than around. So even if it is raining, there's no danger of a flood.

The cherry blossoms were very beautiful. We enjoyed Hanami Camping.

The cooking facility is made of concrete, and with wide roof. So when it is rainy day, you can use without getting wet.

The water is seem tap water.

It is clean pit toilet.

There is a gazebo in the park. The tables are nothing in the gazebo, but the long benches are there.

It is good for take a nap.
But many people visit here at lunchtime, because this gazebo is only one gazebo in the park.

There is another camping ground around the toilet.

It is so wide lawn area and flat ground.

Sometime, this place is used as parking lot, so be careful.

The scenery of Chikugo-river is beautiful. You can see it from the campsite.

There is a Japanese bridge designed to be submerged during floods.

There is a view point that Old Japanese train is going over the bridge.

We had be able to enjoy viewing cherry blossoms with camping.

The park is lit up in the night during the cherry blossom season, and we can enjoy to see the view of cherry blossoms all night.
