GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The camping ground was completely covered with snow.
There were traces of camping in some flat places.
It was prohibited to enter wood deck, because of heavy snow.
It is possible to stay overnight for 500 yen. Short stay is 50 yen.
Lights-out time is 22pm.
If you go to campsite in winter, you must attach crampons.
Bonfire is prohibited.
Spring water from mountain is available.
It is a clean Bio-toilet.
Here is very cold in winter.
Please make sure you will protect yourself against cold weather.
