GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The sports ground is located near the Uming Oshima. It is about 500m from the ferry terminal.
The sports ground is so wide and covered by lawn. Everywhere is flat, it is suitable for setting up a tent.
But the site is surrounded by protective net and trees, so the view is not so good.
There is near the ferry terminal, so it is possible to access easily for backpackers and cyclists.
The water facility is located at southeast corner in the sports ground.
You can get water for drinking at there. It is tap water.
It is wide place, so you can set up your tent, even if you have a large tent.
The lawn was neatly manicured.
It is a flush toilet.
The restrooms looks like a log cabin.
The parking lot is at the south side of the sports ground.
It seems possible to set up a tent beside own car.
There is a Uming Oshima near the sports ground. It is a main tourist facility in the island.
That is a pay facility, even if you don't have fishing equipments, you will be able to enjoy fishing there.
How about seafood dishes for dinner?
There is an artificial beach at the place that is 15 minutes by walk from the camp site.
Wooden benches and decks are set around the beach, and it is one of the sightseeing spots in the island.
The view that a small island is floating in the sea is very nice, so how about going there for a walk?
