Hijiri-ko campsite

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the side of Hijiri-ko lake that is the northwest of Kitahiroshima-town.

There are many boarded tent pads in the forest. And all around there, the lawn spread all over the ground. At most of the lawn ground, it is possible to set up a tent beside vehicle, but the vehicle is prohibited to enter in a part of the lawn area.

This campsite has good exposure to sunlight, and there are many shade trees, so it is very relaxing for camping.

There are 4 cooking facilities in the campsite.

It is so useful because there are cooking tables in every facilities. The sink is made of concrete. And the water from the faucet is well-water, but it is suitable for human to drink.

At the night, the ceiling light is bright.

The fireplace is also made of concrete. And 2 stage type grill is available.

In the forest, there are many fallen branches that is able to use as firewood.

There are 4 restrooms in the campsite. All of them are clean flush toilets.

The light is turned on automatically when a person enter.

There are 3 gazebos in the campsite.

It is very large, so even on a rainy day, you will able to spend a comfortable time.

The campsite is located at the lakeside, but you can not see the lake from your tent.

There is a danger of inundation, so it is prohibited to camp at the shore of the lake.
