Mikumarikyo shinrin-koen campsite

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located in the Mikurimakyo shinrin-koen park that is at the upper area of Enokawa River. It is northern area of Fuchu-cho. Here is close to the Hiroshima city area, so it seems to be crowded with people on holidays. The tent site is far from the parking lot, but it is quiet place. And almost the sites are flat, so it is suitable to set up a tent.

Usually the campsite is able to use without reservation. If you want to bring your bagggage to the site with your vehicle, you will need to reserve by 3 days before.

It is a clean tiled sink, but there is no cooking table, so inconvenient.

The water from the faucet is well water, so if you want to drink the water, you will need to boil.

The fireplace is made of brick.

And also grills are available.

It is a clean flush toilet.

Administrator's house is at the parking lot, and administrator always stays during 8：30～17：00.

Please let them know when you camp.

There is a public square at the place that is one stage lower than the campsite.

The clean mountain stream flows through the park. The river have shallow place, so children can enjoy to play in the river.

There is a wooden bridge. That is a very Japanese view.

There is a illegal dumping monitoring camera at the dead end of the park's road.

And many stray cats are in the park.

If you go there with your vehicle, your baggage carrying will get a little easier.
