GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located along Nabara River that flows into Nabara Dam. The dam is at the northern area of Hiroshima city.
The tent site is located along the sloped road, but almost all of the site is flat places with lots of sunlight. It is a grassland and some part are bare ground.
There are two wooden tables in the facility. The sink is made of stainless.
The water from the faucet seems well-water. If you want to drink the water, you will have to boil.
The fireplace is independent type. It is made of brick.
And open fireplace are available too.
An old pit toilet is on the opposite side of the road in front of the cooking facility.
And some toilet stools are broken.
3 minutes walk down the road, and you'll arrive to another restrooms.
It was so clean flush toilet. An accessible toilet is available.
A mountain stream is very clear and cold.
I think that in summer, many people come here to play in the river.

Let's observe good outdoor manners in campsite.
