Takasaka shizenkyuyo-mura campsite

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located in Takasaka shizenkyuyo-mura park that is 9km northwest from the center of Mihara city area.

If you check in at the administration center by 16:00, you will be able to rent a key of the campsite's entrance gate. Then, you can drive into the campsite with your vehicle.

The tent site is covered by lawn, and some places are bare ground. You can see the nice view from the upper site, at late May, the beautiful wisteria flowers on the pergola are in full bloom.

There is a simple concrete-made sink. The water from the faucet is tap water.

There is no cooking table, so that feels inconvenient.

All fireplace are open facility.

It is made of concrete and brick, and that is set on separately. Bonfire directly on the ground is prohibited.

And there is no grill. I wish there is a gazebo used as a shelter from the rain.

It is a clean flush toilet.

An accessible toilet is available.

There is a lake named "Ikoi ike" in front of the campsite.

You can go down the stairs and descend to the lake.

There are fences surrounded the lake, so it is safety for the children.

It is about 300m from the parking lot to the campsite.

If you are off-road motorcycle rider or cyclist, you will be able to pass through the side of the entrance gate with your vehicle.

In that case, you need not to rent a key of the gate.
