GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The way to the campsite is a one way street. Please drive carefully.
Campsite is on a gentle slope. But there are some good flat location for camping.
Cooking facility is one place only.
There is a big table made from wood.
Fireplace is old facility.
Toilet is a simple flush toilet.
There is a temple ruins in the campsite.
That lawn is neatly manicured.
