GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the higher place where we can look down the beautiful Hamajiri beach on the Pacific, It is at the south area of Minami Osumi-cho.
The tent site is flat and wide grassland, but there are some tree stumps on the ground, so please be careful when setting up your tent.
And here is a windy place, also be careful your tarp.
There is a restroom at the east side of the campsite. That is at a one stage lower than the campsite.
The restroom's water facility is available, it is tap water.
There are two banyan trees in the campsite.
We were able to use those trees as wind proof trees.
The banyan trees is called in Japan "Gajumaru".
The toilet is clean flush toilet.
The cool water shower rooms is available in the restrooms. It is free to use.
There is another tent site at a one stage upper than the campsite.
The ground is so wide and flat, but there is no tree.
The view from there is very beautiful.
The beach of hamajiri is most longest in Minami Osumi-cho. The sandy beach is 1.3km long.
The sea turtles come here to lay their eggs on this beach. If you are lucky, you might be able to meet the turtles.
