GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the south coast of Odomari bay in south area of Minami osumi-cho. There is the entrance of Sata-misaki park road near the campsite. This is southernmost campsite of Honshu.
The tent site is along the beach, and it is narrow lawn ground.
There is other tent site near the restrooms that is in a slightly elevated area. The view from the observation gazebo near the restrooms is so nice.
There is the cooking facility. The sink is concrete-made, and the water from the faucet is tap water. The fireplace is made of fire brick, and grills are available. And the water shower room is available too.
The lights of the all facilities can be turn on in the night, it is appreciated.
