There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located near the place famous for Shoyo suspension bridge. The mountain stream that flows in the deep valley, and it is a place full of nature.
The tent site is so wide.
This park was as a campsite until 2002. But now, here is not a campsite, so if you will camp, please camp at your own risk.
The restroom's wash hand stand is used as a water facility for cooking.
The water is well water. So if you will drink the water, you need to boil.
There is no fireplace in the campsite, the marks of the bonfire are on the ground.
There is a sign board written, "Please be careful about fire"
It is a clean simple flush toilet.
If you will go to the campsite, you need to across this small bridge.
It is prohibited for vehicles to enter the site.

In summer, many people visit here to play in the river.
