There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located near Hososhima port that is at the southside of Hososhima peninsula in the east area of Hyuga city.
The tent site is at the high place. We can see the magnificent sight of the ocean over the parking lot from here. The ground is covered by lawn, and so wide and flat.
So many stray cats are lived in around the campsite. Beware of theft of your foods.
It is available to use the campsite by only telephone reservation.
The cooking facility is near the south entrance of the campsite.
The sink is made of concrete, and the water is tap water.
There is no table for cooking.
The fireplace is made of concrete too, and inside of them is covered by fire brick.
It is small and wide type, but it's no problem to use because it has a grill.
The restrooms is adjacent to the cooking facility.
It is a clean flush toilet.
There are some barbecue tables at the seaside in the campsite. The view from here is so fine.
If you prepare food and grilling-net and charcoal, you will enjoy a barbecue.
The big campfire circle is at the center in the campsite.
Be careful not to fall down in the pit.
There are public squares in the park. The ground has exercise equipments or playground equipments.
The gazebo is at the park, so in summer, you will be able to have a good time to relax in the shade.
