The campsite is located at the riverside of the Ozaki-gawa that flows into Hyuga-Shiiba-ko lake. It is at the west area of Shiiba-son village.
The tent site is grassland along the riverside and divided east side and west side.
The ground is very hard, so you need the strong tent pegs.
The sound of a mountain stream was music to my ears.
The concrete-made sink is so clean.
There are 3 wooden tables those are different in size. So it was useful when cooking.
The water from the faucet seems tap water.
The fireplace is made of fire brick. It is a wide type one, and the grill is available.
And there was no used charcoal in the fireplace and it was kept clean.
The toilet is a simple flush toilet.
There is a Western-style toilet stool, and another one is Japanese-style.
The restroom will turn on lights automatically, when using in the night.
The entrance of the site is at the west side of the Ozaki elementary school.
There are restrooms and a gate ball ground at a one stage lower place than the school, and the tent site is at the lowest place.
There are many houses of the local citizens around the campsite, so please be quiet in the night.
Ozaki-gawa river is very beautiful and a clear stream, so many people visit here to enjoy playing in the water in the summer.
There are marks of the bonfire on the ground in the east side of the tent site.
So when you set up your tent, please be careful stain of the charcoal on the ground.
