GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located near Seiroku dam at the foot of Jomegi mountain.
The tent site is flat and an open space. It is covered by lawn. The site is separated up and down side.
It is a fine view from the site, but there is no shade of a tree, so you need your tarp.
And the site located nearest the entrance is available too. At there, you can set up your tent side by side with your car.
The cooking facility has a wide roof, so it is comfortable even rainy day.
There is a concrete-made table in the center of the facility, so it's useful when cooking.
The facility has no ceiling light, so you need the light in the night.
The fireplace is made of fire brick. It is narrow type and good efficiency.
But there was no grill in the fireplace.
The toilet is a clean pit toilet. and an old type in Japan.
There are two bungalows in the campsite. It is available for free too.
The windows are not made of the glass, it is made of the screen door net, so the inside temperature of the house is same as outside even in winter.
The entrance door is so short and low position for some unknown reason.
It is a wooden floors and so wide space. It is too large enough size for one family.
There is no ceiling light also in this room.
Even on a rainy day, we can enjoy to camp in a big group.
It's great that we can use for free.
There is a dam lake called Seiroku-tameike near the campsite.
When I was walking around the lake early in the morning, I have seen that the morning mist covered the lake and the reflection of the mountains in the lake. It was a beautiful view.
