There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located in front of Omura Kyotei, a boat-racing stadium and near the city area. It is convenient for a shopping.
In early morning, many people visit here for exercise and a walk.
The camping ground is about 200 meters away from the parking lot.
When there is a wind in the summer, it is cool because of many tree shades.
If you will use this campsite, you must to reservate at Omura City Hall.
There are two cooking facilities in the campsite.
When cooking, it is inconvenient, because the windproof wall is nothing, but there is a big stainless table for cooking, and the ceiling light is bright, it is so useful.
The facility is clean, and the water is tap water.
The fireplace is made of brick.
The bricks for cooking are prepared in the yellow basket , so you can use it to make your favourite fireplace freely.
And the grill and grilling net are available.
You can find a lot of fallen cone of a pine tree in the campsite, and use it as ignition agent.
The toilet is near the cooking facility.
It is clean flush toilet, and the ceiling light is so bright too.
And the accessible toilet is available.
The camping ground is on the small pine-forest, and a few places are flat.
The tables and benches are available.
It was kept clean by the administrator.
The campsite is in Kushimazaki Kofun Tumulus. It is old Japanese mounded tomb.
There is a boat-racing stadium in front of a observation deck.
And a wooden table is in deck, so we can enjoy to lunch while looking at the boat-racing.
If you want to ride your car into the campsite to bring your baggage, you must rent key of gate at Omura City Hall.
And after camping, you have to return the key.
