GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the riverside of Ono-gawa river that flows through the northeastern area of Bungo-ono city.
Before, when I visited here, the ground and facility was covered with mud because of the river flood. But now, it was recovered.
The ground is flat and good for setting up the tent.
And there is no shade of a tree, so you need your tarp.
In the gazebo, there are tables and wooden chairs.
The cooking facility is nothing at the inside of the gazebo. The sink is outside.
The water is tap water.
There is a barbecue house at the westside of the gazebo.
If you have a charcoal and foods, you will be able to enjoy a barbecue.
The restrooms is in the children's park, so it is far from the parking lot.
It is a clean flush toilet.
The children's park has playground equipments, so children will enjoy to play.
There is a large gazebo in there.

Let's observe good outdoor manners in campsite.
Often information that is posted on this website becomes out of date. There is also a case where the free campsite was closed or charges is needed. So you should check up new information.
