There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

Please enjoy camping in Japan!

The campsite is located at Hagio park in hilly area of western Hita city.

The site is in the shade of trees, so It's cool in summer. It looks like terraced fields.

There are many trees good for a hammock to sling.

The sink is made of concrete. It is a typical style.

There is a wooden table at the center, so it's useful when cooking.

Camping is available during July 20 to August 31, but the water facility is always available.

The fireplace is made of fire brick. It is a wide type, so it is possible to use by a big group.

The grill is two-stage type, and it can not be remove.

It is a clean flush toilet.

It is available all the year.

There is a big lake at the bottom side of the site.

It is famous for its cherry blossoms.

Cherry trees are planted around the lakeside. It is called Senbon Zakura.

There is a large public square at the opposite side of the parking lot.

The playground equipments are set up at the corner of the square, so children will enjoy to play.
