GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

Campsite is located in the valley between mountains.
It was wide lawn areas.
There are toilet and water facility only.
It is a simple water facility.
Toilet was vault toilet.
There is a clear mountain stream flowing in the park.
Now camping is prohibited in the park.
Many children had been playing in the river. Water was so cold.
Staying in a tent all night is prohibited. But we can enjoy a one-day trip.
