There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The park is located at the riverside of the middle basin of Okudake River. There is a parking lot and a toilet in the park.

The ground is hard gravel. So if you will camp there, you need a camping mat that is not thin.

There is a shade of the trees, but it's far from the parking lot.

There is a clean stainless sink in the cooking facility at the back of the toilet.

The water is not good for drinking directly. Please boil, if you drink the water.

I used my bonfire stand and made a bonfire not to get the mountain stream dirty.

It was easy to find many tree branches as firewood at the riverside.

Many people visited this park in the daytime, and used the toilet.

But the flush toilet was kept clean.

It is a beautiful river. Many people had enjoyed to play the water and swimming.

The water is so clear, and not so cold.

Because here is located at the middle stream area.

There are many large trees in the parking lot. So we can relax in the cool shade of the trees.

The wide shallow place is in the river, so children can enjoy to play in the river.

This time, we visited to play in the river, not to camp.

The water was so cool!
