GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the southeast area of Oita city.
It is in the large forest surrounded by the city area.
There are shade of trees, so it's cool, but the ground is gentle slope. There aren't many flat places.
The camping is available only July and August.
The roof of the cooking facility was broken.
The sink is made of concrete, and the water is tap water.
The fireplace is also made of concrete, and wide and low style.
The grill was set at low position, so it is easy to use.
The toilet is south side of the campsite.
It is a flush toilet.
There are some open fireplace and tables.
But the grill is nothing, so you have to prepare the grill and charcoal.
It's a bonfire.
