There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the foot of Tamamine-san mountain that is at the northeastern area of Okuizumo-cho town.

The ground in front of the administrator's house is used both as the tent site and the parking lot. And another site is at the place lower than that ground, it has soft soil, so it is easy to peg a tent.

usually it is a quiet and cool place, but during the summer holidays it is very crowded. when I was camping there, about 30 people had been.

There is a wide and clean stainless sink. Maybe the water from the faucet is well-water, but I think it is suitable for human to drink.

The wooden cooking tables are also useful, and even if it rains, it will be comfortable because the facility is so wide space.

There is a fireplace at the center of the facility. It has been cleaned well by the administrator, and the used charcoal had not been left inside of the fireplace.

The grill is set at the low position, so it is enough to use even by a small bonfire.

There is a restroom between administrator's room and the cooking facility.

It is a clean simple flush toilet, and the ceiling light switch is turned on automatically when someone come in.

There is a campfire circle, so you can enjoy to make a bonfire on the ground directly.

Many branches or bushes are fallen in the forest, those are able to use as firewood.

Everyday the administrator comes to the facility and clean up.

If you obtain the permission of the administrator, you will be able to stay at the room covered with tatami mats.

There is a notebook that is written about travelling memories by travellers, so how about you try to write your camping memories.

If you obtain the permission of the administrator, also you will be able to use the electrical goods.

There is a refrigerator, so you can cool your foods or drinks there.

Usually it is unpluged from the outlet, when you want to use, please plug in. Please do an moral behavior about to use the outlet.
