GPS/navigator will take the shortest route, if your phone is downloaded the app "Google Maps" or "Apple Maps",
If OS is Android, "iphone" or "android" either one is fine.
If OS is iOS, "iphone" is launch the Apple Maps and, "android" is launch the Google Maps.

There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located halfway up the Oboshi-mountain that is at the base of the Murotsu Peninsula.
The view from the campsite is the west side of mountain slope, so you can see the beautiful sunset.
The tent site is lawn area, and not so wide. But the ground is all flat.
The site is surrounded by low trees, so it obstruct the view. But it protect from strong wind.
The cooking facility is at the entrance of camp site.
The sink is made of concrete, and the both side places are able to use as cooking tables. The water is unsuitable for human to drink.
If you want to use this facilities, you will have to sign in at Hirao-cho gymnasium that is at the center of Hirao city area.
The fireplace is made of fire-brick, and grills are available. Those are set on the both sides of the water facility.
Although the water facility has roof, the fireplace has no roof, so you can not use on a rainy day.
The restroom is at the park that is at the upside of the campsite.
It was a clean flush toilet.
The shower rooms are at the campsite.
Although it seems like a hot coin shower room, it is only cold water shower.
Usually those are all locked and we can't see the inside.
The public square is so wide compared to the campsite. You can exercise a lot.
There are many cherry blossoms around the park, so in a spring, you can enjoy a flower-viewing picnic.
And there is a gazebo in the park, so you can also relax at there.
There are many playground equipments in the park, so children will probably enjoy to play.
And another park is in a place that is about 5 minutes away from here by car.
That is on the top of Oboshi-mountain and about 438 m high, the view from the park's slide is so wonderful.

Let's observe good outdoor manners in campsite.
