There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the north coast that is at the base of the Mukatsuku Peninsula, and it is in the northwestern area of Nagato city.

There is no sign at the entrance of the campsite, so pay attention to overlook.

The tent site is so wide and covered the grass. Here is also used as the parking lot. The site is separated into the two areas of upper and lower.

The north wind is very strong in winter season.

The cooking facility is a wide space, so we have a comfortable time even on a rainy day.

The sink is made of stainless and the both side parts of them are able to use as a wide cooking tables. The water from the faucet is tap water.

When I visited here, the ceiling light was not able to turn on.

The fireplace is made of concrete, and 2 stage type grills are available.

The beach is near there, so you can get many driftwoods as firewood.

The restroom is at the parking lot of the park.

An accessible toilet is available, and the light is turned on automatically.

There is no windproof tree at the upper tent site, so the wind blow directly into the tent.

But the site is at the most inner place, so it's quiet.

The sea view is so beautiful, and a fishing light twinkle on the horizon in night.

In summer season, the parking fee is needed, but in other than summer season, it is available for free.
