There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.
The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

The campsite is located at the northeastern lakeside of Lake Tokiwako that is at the south area of Ube city.
The tent site is covered by lawn, and in some places it's bare ground.
The lake view from the campsite is so beautiful that we had a very relaxing, comfortable time.
If you want to camp here, you will have to check in at "Kosui hall". It is open 9：00～17：00.
The sink is made of concrete, and both sides are able to use as cooking table.
It is weathered and looks an old facility because it is without a roof. The water is tap water.
Another water facility is at the restrooms. It has a roof, so even if it is on a rainy day, you will be able to use in a comfortable.
The fireplace is made of brick. It is also old but the grill is available.
And it has no roof, so you can not use on a rainy day.
There is no gazebo in the campsite, so if it rains, we will be not able to spend a comfortable time.
It is a clean flush toilet.
" The electrical outlet is available for use only an outdoor lighting. And it is prohibited for using other electrical goods ", the sign was posted.
Please do an moral behavior about to use the outlet.
The sunset of the lake from the campsite is so beautiful.
The lake is in the direction which is southwest of the campsite, so we could see the sunset.
Many people had been enjoying walking and running around the lake.
The campsite is far from the parking lot, so we can enjoy a bonfire quietly.
But I've heard that there was someone who have had their car broken and valuables stolen.
Please beware of theft.
