There are many free campsites in Japan. If you will camp in Japan, in most cases you have to reserve and get permission for use the campsite.

The campsites is crowded on the weekend and holiday. So you should better to reserve the campsite beforehand.

Tsunoshima island is located at the northwestern area of Shimonoseki city. Now the bridge runs across the ocean, so we can go to Tsunoshima by car.

The campsite is located at the northwesten area of the island. The tent site is lawn area and all flat. We can see the ocean from everywhere of the site.

But the wind is very strong. Please take care when you set up your tarp or tent.

The sink is made of stainless, it is so clean.

It is wide space and comfortable using, but the water is not available other than summer season.

The fireplace is made of fire-brick, and grill is 2 stage type.

At the beach, there are many driftwood that is able to use as fire-wood.

It is clean flush toilet.

Around the ground of restrooms was covered by sand.

There is a set of a japanese movie in the campsite.

Now, the set is used as restrooms.

If the weather's good, you can get a beautiful view.

There is a boarded floor stage.

In the shade of the stage is cool and comfortable.

We can see the Tsunoshima lighthouse from the campsite.

If you go to the lighthouse park by vehicle, you will have to pay the parking fee.

Tsunoshima bridge is very beautiful.

It has been used as a shooting place for a television commercials.

If you want to go to the campsite, you'll have to across this bridge.

The weather was fine, but the wind was so strong.

The restroom wash hand facility was broken.

We could not get the water. So you'd better prepare the drinking water.
